Packaging SupervisorArlington, WAMonday- Friday 3 PM- 12 AM$25- $29/HREXPERIENCE IN A FOOD PRODUCTION FACILITY REQUIREDJob DescriptionPrioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments to ensure the production of products to meet customer specifications, company quality standards, and customer delivery requirements. Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, safety standards, and quality of products. Train, coach, and involve employees; appraise performance; offer praise and hold accountable; address complaints and resolve problems. Oversee and review all required paperwork, reports, and documentation. Coordinate the production planning process with other departments for downtime for PM and Work Order completion. Actively participate on cross-functional teams for the continuous ongoing improvement of methods and processes. Continually review, recommend, and implement programs to comply with all State, Federal, and local safety and sanitation regulations and employment issues. Ensure proper upkeep of equipment; address and resolve problems; initiate work orders for repairs. Maintain a high level of completion of quality initiatives for the plant such as CAPA Completion/SQF Preparedness/HAACP Awareness/GMP’s. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. Report to work on time and work overtime as required. Perform all other duties as assigned.Hard Skills
Fluency in English and Spanish
3+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing
Directing, coaching, and developing a team of 20-30 associates
Experience with Continuous Improvement tools
Knowledge of ADP and ERP systems
Soft Skills
Ability to create and maintain an engaging workplace culture
Effective communication and relationship-building across all levels
Sound decision-making regarding resource utilization
