IT Security Analyst for InfoSec Solutions Provider
Strategize and help orchestrate security initiatives to protect organizational information, identify potential vulnerabilities, improve overall organizational security for Large-Scale Managed Services Technical Solutions provider.



Day-to-Day:


  • Perform security reviews, vulnerability & pen tests, utilizing internal tools & 3rd Party Vendors, InfoSec surveys

  • Management & configuration of security infrastructure, such-as SIEM, Preventing Losses in Data, anti-malware, encryption, multi-factor auth, manage security infrastructure w/ hybrid-cloud (Amazon Web Services/Azure) & on-premise infrastructure solutions & applications

  • Strategize and implement for migrations/control provisions

  • Incident Monitoring, tracking, analysis, reporting for proactive threat protection, management + preventative measures

  • Oversee Internet/Intra security-based issues w/ firewall policy audits & sec. log review

  • Identify control weak spots, regulations, avert risks & create & maintain remediation plans

  • Cross-train w/ team members on all other IT Security initiatives such as general Vulnerability Management, Security Reviews, Security Policy Compliance & Awareness, Customer Engagement & Security Certifications

  • Analyze situations for security breaches

  • Assist end-users on installations, best practices for implementations, utilize & adhere to security protocols & procedures

  • User collaboration for data access issues, threat identity, development & process improvement, etc.

  • Utilize data encryption, firewalls, & security tools & apps to mask & protect transferring of digital info

  • Development & implementation to safeguard digital data from accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure; data processing needs for emergencies

  • Monitors and restricts access to sensitive, confidential or other high-security data

  • Modifies security files & apps as able & necessary to provide specialized access, allow new software installations and integrations

  • Performs risk assessments, audits, and tests to ensure the proper functioning of data processing activities + security measures

  • Safeguards system security, improve overall server and network efficiency through user training and exercises to be aware

  • Determines when to update virus protection systems by monitoring current reports of computer viruses; facilitates or performs needed updates

  • Perform accurate and timely analysis and reporting of security of events from a wide variety of technology sources

  • Serve as PM and lead development for security roadmaps and individual projects


REQUIREMENTS:

1. 7 yrs. total exp. in IT
2. 3-5 yrs. InfoSec
3. SOC 2/3, HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, NIST
4. RAPID7, Kali Linux, Zen GRC
5. Audit MGMT Software
6. IT Risk MGMT
7. IT Sec. Controls
8. Audit
9. Local or Relocate to Seattle POST-COVID Required, this is NOT a permanently remote opportunity
10. No c2c, the client cannot sponsor now or in future

Base Salary range of 115K-135K+Benefits
