This team plays a vital role in many different aspects of the overall business performance. In addition to providing full-service reporting solutions for numerous multi-functional collaborator, Merchandise Analytics also provides deep dive analyses for key functional areas such as Assortment, Promotion, Customer Behavior, and Data Science.In this role, you will work alongside thoughtful, passionate teammates with a high-reaching attitude and be involved in many aspects of building the business. Lead the development of ongoing reports, analyses and dashboards to guide important decisions and process improvements
Work with the Category Management teams in areas including selection, promotions, Autoship, and customers to improve insight into how our business is performing
Analyze demand and resource requirements against available resources to identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to solve for resource constraints
Communicate with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from several data sources using SQL and multiple technological platforms
Recognize and adopt standard methodologies in reporting: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
Analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context
Respond to high priority requests from senior business leaders
Improve ongoing analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary data sets
What You’ll Need:
BS/BA or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Management, Data Science or related field.
Experience dealing with results and data with a desire to create new processes
Tableau, SQL, and Excel expertise
Knowledge of data warehousing
Convey important insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms.
Look at solutions and see opportunities and can lead the way
3-5 years of professional experience
Bonus (if applicable):
Masters or equivalent experience in Analytics, or equivalent advanced academic degree
Experience working within Snowflake
Familiarity with Excel VBA (Visual Basic Applications)
Advanced technical skills using Python or Knime
Data modeling experience in Retail/E-commerce

Compensation & Benefits:Our salary range for a Business Intelligence Engineer I position is $91,000.00 - $135,500.00 . The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k, and a new hire and annual equity grant.
