Expeditors is seeking a seasoned, motivated, and well-qualified business-focused technology transactions attorney to step into a Corporate Counsel position supporting the company’s Real Estate and Global Sourcing practice group. This role offers exposure to a dynamic international practice spanning a variety of technology agreements, vendor-related data privacy and cybersecurity matters, and artificial intelligence issues.As Corporate Counsel, you will support the global Legal Department in representing Expeditors’ best interests in interactions with its technology vendors. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for advising internal clients on best practices, risk mitigation strategies, and corporate requirements, as well as drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements. In addition, you will have the opportunity to support litigation management, contribute to various strategic initiatives owned by the Legal Department and the practice group, and work across legal disciplines and time zones while collaborating directly with senior legal and business stakeholders.A successful candidate must be able to effectively manage multiple matters with different priorities at the same time.
