DescriptionAmazon’s Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Driver Training & Programs (T&P) team is growing and is looking for a talented Instructional Designer to develop content related to online/in-person learning programs. We reinvent workplace learning by building the programs, products, technologies and mechanisms that make teaching and learning fast, effective and scalable for Amazon employees. Success in this role requires you to design and develop outcomes-based, embedded assessment online learning designs that are grounded in learning science principles.In this role, the ideal candidate will apply knowledge of learning science, design, and instructional technologies to create and improve learning environments at scale. The role will continuously improve learning programs using an array of creative approaches which drive productivity, innovation, and operational excellence.Key job responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to understand program goals and define the learning solution that will make their programs successful.
Create performance-focused training content that engages our learners, ensuring content is ready for localization and deployment in international locations.
Create outstanding learning tools, performance support aids, practice tests, online tutorials, and other materials to meet identified needs.
Create tests, quizzes, and other assessments to ensure learner understanding and performance.
Manage your projects amidst ambiguity, competing priorities, and challenging deadlines.
Travel may be required up to 10%.
This role may be based in Nashville, TN; or Bellevue, WA.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Bellevue, WA, USABasic Qualifications
2+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience in instructional design, communication, education, or related field.
Demonstrated experience designing and developing training materials in all modalities, including ILT, eLearning, video scripts
Experience collaborating with stakeholders, SMEs, front-line managers and frontline employees
Demonstrated working knowledge of eLearning development tools such as Captivate, Articulate Storyline, HTML/CSS/JS, Camtasia, GoAnimate, Adobe Creative Suite
Demonstrated use of multiple learning methods and linking appropriate methods with learners and outcomes
Demonstrated adult learning implementation and experience driving performance through impactful training
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Experience with Articulate Storyline and Learning Management Systems
Design and develop eLearning and instructional materials that scale to support localization and content is easily managed
Develop templates and enforce style guides to ensure consistency across all materials

The base pay for this position ranges from $71,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $153,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
