In this role you will deliver world class solutions while wearing many hats and working in a highly collaborative environment that is more startup than big company. This role will require strong leadership skills, ability to identify trends with limited data and interaction/influence with teams across Amazon to drive the development of our maintenance business.This Principal Program Manager will own, develop, and drive key accountability programs, processes, and mechanisms to improve asset availability, uptime and reduce costs. The scope of all initiatives for this role will impact Amazon North America’s transportation operations and associate teams. This role is responsible for developing and leading processes for inspecting and reporting progress against strategic goals and standards; driving a centralized, comprehensive understanding of key performance indicators; and managing critical transportation organization-wide performance and roadmap review mechanisms. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, passionate, highly analytical, detail-oriented, possess solid interpersonal and communication skills, and be comfortable working independently to deliver results. You will work cross-functionally and across geographies with stakeholders at all levels. You think strategically, write effectively, and plan accurately to execute and deliver on weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly objectives. You effectively coach functional leadership and partners on operational policies and tools, and drive holistic operational excellence across the organization.Key job responsibilities Own strategic planning, execution, and reporting for key programs Ensure alignment on overall strategic goals, standards, objectives and key results, and metrics for planning cycles Analyze business performance, including defining and tracking KPIs, issue identification and resolution, in support of organizational goals Create and manage key reports and mechanisms in support of the organization Drive operational optimization and efficiency, maintaining and improving global tools and processesBasic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

7+ years of program or project management experience

7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience

Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality

Master's Degree

The base pay for this position ranges from $124,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
