DescriptionAmazon Transportation Services (ATS) is looking for a Senior Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional, and technology projects and programs within Amazon Transportation Services. This role will enable you to scope and create project plans, develop processes, coordinate and drive execution, and communicate executive presentations to senior management on status, risks and proposed changes. Cross functional coordination, project management, and experience with data mining, data analysis, Microsoft Excel, and SQL skills are essential.Key job responsibilities

Develop program expansion strategy and own top-level business goals

Write business plans/proposals to champion new initiatives

Run data analysis and simulations of operational scenarios to influence optimal program decisions

Earn trust with internal and external partners, and balance competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment

Development of the overall program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver

Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate

Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions

Partner with customers, internal/external teams, and engineering teams to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order

Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes

Work with program managers, business leaders and executive team to communicate, impact critical business initiatives and drive delivery of results

Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence

A day in the lifeYou will create and manage new programs, strategies, and initiatives to improve key metrics that increase the amount of driving and the quality of driving we can offer Amazon. In order to accomplish this, you will generate strategy documents and plans, developed alongside horizontal stakeholders, and presented to senior leadership to get approval to make impactful changes to our organization. You will problem solve, influence decisions, and strive for measurable goals that make an impact.About the teamThe Driving Products team provides end to end review of TOM’s driving services, requirements and needs. Driving Products is responsible for defining the driving capabilities TOMY offers to ATS Supply Planning, managing intake and prioritization of driving efforts, and operationalizing driving initiatives through coordination with TOM and ATS stakeholders.Basic Qualifications

5+ years of program or project management experience

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of Amazon experience

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of driving process improvements experience

Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Quantitative experience with process overhaul, cross-functional management, and lean six sigma fundamental usage.

The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
