In this role, you will pioneer large-scale projects that are integral to our mission of delivering packages faster, safer, and more cost-effectively than ever before. Your role will directly influence our operational excellence. As a Senior Solutions Engineer you will have a unique opportunity to own innovation projects for AMZL that impact upstream networks, advancing the intelligence of our last mile business.Key job responsibilities

Oversee North America Process Engineering with a focus on the Final Mile.

Lead and execute top-tier strategic projects in collaboration with Delivery Station operational leaders, promoting process stabilization and standardization network-wide.

Act as the advisor for your team and broader network leaders within the Delivery Stations.

Optimize facility and field engineering processes using lean methodologies.

Take charge of large-scale, intricate engineering projects across North America.

Guarantee customer satisfaction by promptly and accurately addressing requests.

Steer sizeable North America Ops Engineering projects, often in ambiguous scenarios; work jointly with Planning, Launch, Procurement, Finance, HR, external partners, and product teams to ensure timely, budget-conscious project completion.

Create innovation within the Engineering Organization.

Liaise with Tech/Software teams to facilitate the operational implementation of software advancements.

Travel regionally up to 15% as necessitated by business demands.

5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience

Bachelor's degree

Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field

Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools

The base pay for this position ranges from $107,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,900/year in our highest geographic market.
