Besides our state-of-the-art fitness areas, PRO Club offers a variety of luxury services in our award-winning spa for guests to feel and look their very best. Our Fitness Specialists ensure that the equipment is ready for members to use, answer member questions about equipment, and keep the fitness area safe by enforcing club policies and procedures. Currently, we have a great opportunity to join our team as a Full-Time Fitness Services Specialist (Monday - Thursday, 2:45pm - 11:15pm. Note: This role is temporary, to fill in for a leave of absence. Candidates must be 18+ for this role) . WHAT YOU WILL DO
Provide general supervision of the fitness areas, ensuring the fitness center is looking its best, towels are available for members, and each machine has a disinfectant bottle available
Assuring the fitness areas are safe including enforcing club policies and procedures
Maintaining the highest quality of customer service, Able to multi-task and prioritize duties while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.
Performs blood pressures and body composition analysis.
Facilitates youth equipment orientation classes.
Instructs members in general exercise techniques and proper equipment usage and spots members on lifts as needed
You pay attention to the details, working independently in a fast-paced organized manner. and love being busy and take pride in doing your best.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Must be 18+ years old
Previous customer service experience, preferably in a health/fitness environment
Current (or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment) CPR & First Aid Certification required, from either Red Cross or American Heart Association.
Ability to work in a team and independently
