Local flooring store has an immediate opening for a FULL TIME Warehouse Manager! We are in search of someone who can perform a range of basic to complex tasks in a warehouse environment with accuracy, reliability, willingness to learn, and solid quality of work with periodic delivery to clients. Warehouse experience and forklift experience is REQUIRED for consideration.
HOURS: M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm (9:00am-5:30pm for training)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 6 months of experience in warehouse distribution or manufacturing required.
- Physical strength (lift & move upwards of 50 lbs), stamina, and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Minimum 6 months of experience in construction industry
- Ability to assemble furniture items
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 programs
- Can drive a forklift (certified is a bonus)
- Valid WA State Driver's license with good driving record
-Basic knowledge of flooring material

-Ability to be self-motivated and work efficiently unsupervised.
-Reliable and Dependable
-Confident driving box moving vans ranging from size 10’ – 26’
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock
- Receive in products, materials, cabinetry, etc. in accordance with company policy and input information into computer software program.
-Warehouse and inventory duties including loading and unloading trucks, order pulling and shipping.
-Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner and notify necessary departments of orders received, returns, claims, etc.
-Resolve logistical challenges by communicating with staff, clients, transportation providers, manufacturers, and suppliers.
-Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse and collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
-Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse and showroom.
-Assist in display set-up and floor moves
-Deliver Materials to jobsite
-Manage, track, and keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations. Must maintain and update the safety handbook.
-Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
-Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed
