Job Description - Full-Time Customer Service/Truck Accessories Installer
Bring your customer service skills and your tools. Rain-Cap Truck and Auto Accessories is looking for a self motivated and enthusiastic person to split their days 60/40 between customer service & installs. We take pride in our reputation of great customer service and quality installs for all truck owners, and are looking for someone who shares our values and who loves trucks as much as we do.
This position is full time Monday - Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with rotating day(s) off. Our shop is located at 4469 Guide Meridian, Bellingham, WA 98226.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
Provide excellent customer service to walk-in & phone customers;
Perform truck accessory installs in accordance with Raincap's established standards;
Answering the phone and taking accurate messages;
Shipping and receiving; generate, place and confirm purchase orders with suppliers;
Receive payment for merchandise or service sold. Process customer transactions (orders and quotes) accurately and promptly; provide information regarding in-stock items and/or next day availability;
Participate in the physical inventory, stock merchandise and maintain displays;
Performing other duties as assigned by management;
Qualifications and skills:
Requires computer competency and mechanical aptitude;
Learn and retain product information and technical concepts required to sell and to perform installs; Answer customer inquiries concerning price and availability; Educate customers on different products and their applications;
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
Good organizational skills, strong attention to detail;
Positive and outgoing personality; must be a team player and dependable.
Requires a valid Washington State Drivers License;
