Bring Spanish to life through puppet shows, salsa dancing, and papel picado! Teach language through art, painting while counting in Spanish, singing traditional songs, and celebrating Hispanic cultures with authentic projects.
Why Teach Spanish at GAK?
Imagine teaching Spanish through puppet shows, salsa dancing, and papel picado. At Gabriel's Art Kids, language learning isn't about memorizing conjugations—it's about painting while counting in Spanish, singing traditional songs during circle time, and celebrating Día de los Muertos with authentic art projects.
We're not your typical language program. We're an arts organization that knows creativity speaks all languages, and we need someone who can weave Spanish into our colorful tapestry of daily adventures. We're ready to expand how we inspire young minds—this time, bilingually.
Who This Role Is For:
You're our person if you:
Believe the best way to teach "rojo" is while finger painting with red
Can turn "Simon Says" into "Simón Dice" without missing a beat
Get excited about teaching culture through crafts and stories
Have the patience to repeat "¿Cómo estás?" 100 times with a smile
See language mistakes as learning victories, not failures
Can make grammar fun (yes, really!)
Know that the best classroom is sometimes the messiest one
This isn't for you if:
You prefer teaching from textbooks and worksheets
You think language learning should be silent and seated
Glitter in your hair would ruin your day
You're uncomfortable with organized chaos
You believe there's only one "right" way to teach Spanish
You need every lesson to go exactly as planned
Spontaneous dance parties aren't your thing
The Role:
You'll bring Spanish to life for early childhood - elementary students (2.5 years - 12 years old) through GAK's signature blend of education and entertainment. Think immersive, think creative, think "wait, we're learning Spanish? I thought we were just having fun!"

Additional possibilities: Some afternoon shifts as program grows
Consistency is key: Our students count on seeing your smiling face regularly
What We Offer:
You'll join a team that celebrates every "aha!" moment—whether it's a preschoolers first Spanish word or a sixth-grader teaching their parents Spanish songs at home. We're building something special at GAK, where language learning happens through laughter, paint, and the occasional glitter explosion.
Our organization has navigated big transitions with creativity and grace. We're not just maintaining programs—we're reimagining what arts education can be when it speaks multiple languages.
Why Spanish at an Arts Organization?
Because "azul" is more meaningful when you're mixing blue paint. Because counting to ten is more fun when you're counting dance steps. Because culture comes alive through creating, not just conjugating.
