Innotech is looking for an experienced steel detailer to join our team.
You would be an integral part of our engineering department and work closely with the group and senior management providing our customers and the shop with approval drawings and shop drawings.
We work with high-end commercial and residential timber wood builders providing much of the steel elements in their projects.
Our steel is in projects from California, Oregon, and Washington, to Idaho and Texas.
Job Skill Requirements
Background in mechanical and structural design & detailing.
Computer skills required – Proficiency in current SolidWorks, AutoCAD 2D/3D or equivalent structural steel design software.
A US citizen.
Experience in the steel fabrication industry, with proficiency in design, detailing, steel fabrication, paint, and assembly processes.
Understanding of manufacturing processes for shop fabrication, shop equipment and finishing.
Ability to design and interpret fabrication drawings, understanding and utilization of weld symbols.
Maintain required design tolerances and checking of others detailed design drawings.
Accountable for your actions and time given to perform specific job projects and tasks.
Must be very well organized with exceptional time management skills.
