Job Summary
To effectively lead a team of banquet servers- food and beverage service, guest attention, and overall logistics of banquet events by way of set-up, serving, clear communication and teamwork, while maintaining the company's standard for excellence, resulting in the overall success of banquet events
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age
Prior banquet or server experience required
. Prior bartending experience preferred
Alcohol handlers permit qualifications
Must hold valid Food Handlers Card and MAST 12 Permit
Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for several hours at a time
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
Must be able to perform other physical activities as needed
Able to work weekends, evenings and/or holidays
Responsibilities (Include, but are not limited too)
Maintain a professional appearance
Maintain a professional mannerism among employees and guests
Assist with set-up/tear down of tables, linens, chairs, etc.
Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events
Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures
Maintain sense of urgency when on the service floor
Maintain back of the house, front of the house and side work duties for overall productivity of banquet events
Maintain positive and professional attitude
Seek council from management when needed
Complete all other assigned duties as necessary
Maintain clear and open communication between all staff members for overall event success
Follow Health and Safety practices at all times
Maintain open communication regarding availability to manager for scheduling purposes as hours do change (vary based upon event schedule and needs)
