We are a season operation at this time open from May through October.
The Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Wine Bar Manager to lead our team. You will be the maestro behind our operations, ensuring that each visit to our bar is memorable, educational, and delightful.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day running of the bar, from inventory to staff scheduling.
Customer Service: Lead by example in providing exceptional service, enhancing customer experience.
Team Leadership: Inspire, train, and manage our bar staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Financial Management: Control costs, manage budgets, and aim for profitability while maintaining quality.
Event Planning: Coordinate and execute wine events, tastings, and pairings that enrich our customers' experience.
Wine Knowledge: Curate our wine list, conduct tastings, and educate staff and patrons on the nuances of wine.
What We're Looking For:
Proven Experience: At least 3 years in a management role within the hospitality or wine industry.
Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and manage a team, creating a positive work environment.
Customer-Focused: A genuine passion for providing an exceptional guest experience.
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, including inventory, labor, and profitability.
Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of local liquor and food handling regulations.
Wine Expertise: Deep knowledge of wines, vintages, and food pairings is a plus but not required.
