Larrabee Lager Company is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic beertender who knows how to properly pour a beer and can provide guests with a top-notch craft brewery experience. Candidates will have extensive beer and wine knowledge and make sure our guests feel valued, educated, and well taken care of.
Job Title: Beertender
Salary: $17.28/hr + generous equally pooled tips
Discounts: Food, beer, and merchandise
Schedule: Part-Time (10-20 hours per week)
Start Date: Immediately
Duties:
-Provide high quality service to customers - be nice!
-Performs opening/closing responsibilities
-Know how to count till down at end of day
-Adhere to all local and national liquor laws
-Greet guests in a timely manner and take orders
-Process cash and credit card transactions following appropriate procedures
-Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team
-Interact with customers, takes orders, and serve drinks. Run food orders as necessary
-Evaluate customer's needs and make recommendations
-Educate customers on the Larrabee way and what makes us special/different.
-Work closely with barbacks to restock and replenish bar inventory
-Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
-Current beverage service certification or other certification as required by federal/state/local law
-Familiar with point-of-sale computers and software
-Must be 21 years of age
-Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
-Strong knowledge of beer and wine
-Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
-Previous experience in a bar or similar environment preferred
