The Food & Beverage Coordinator manages all concession operations for the Bellingham Bells baseball season. While primarily focused on game days, this position may require occasional work during the off-season and on non-game days.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Manage inventory and weekly food deliveries, maintaining relationships with vendors and placing regular orders
-Lead and train concessions staff, including cashiers, runners, food prep, and grill workers
-Supervise daily operations and provide hands-on support during service hours
-Ensure compliance with Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board, Whatcom County Health Department, and Washington State Retail Food Code regulations
-Coordinate staff scheduling with Bells front office to maintain appropriate labor costs
-Resolve customer concerns while maintaining high service standards
-Complete and verify nightly cash reports, including reconciliation of cash and credit card transactions
Required Qualifications:
-Available from May 1, 2025, and for all 2025 Bellingham Bells home games
-Flexible schedule availability, including nights and weekends
-Previous experience in food service, restaurant management, catering, or operations
-Strong leadership and communication skills
-Self-motivated with excellent organizational abilities
-Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude
-Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
-Current Washington State Food Worker's Card
-Current WSLCB MAST Permit (Class 12)
-Over 21 years of age
