We’re expanding our team and looking for passionate individuals with experience in the food industry to help us serve up delicious meals at local farmers markets and food truck events!
Role Overview: As part of our team, you’ll be working on the front lines, preparing tasty food, engaging with customers, and ensuring everything runs smoothly the Bellingham Farmers Market! If you’re excited about food, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and want to be a part of a growing company, we’d love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
Cook on a flat top grill and prepare food to order
Assemble sandwiches, wraps, and other menu items
Operate the POS system to handle customer orders and payments
Set up and pack down the booth for each market/event
Assist with food prep at the commissary kitchen
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment
Position Details:
Market season: Every Saturday
Farmers markets and events held in the Bellingham area
Commissary kitchen and equipment stored in Bellingham (loading/unloading required)
Ideal Candidate:
Experience in the food industry (preferred)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (preferred)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
