Corporate Catering Kitchen Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Manager to oversee our fast-paced corporate catering kitchen. The ideal candidate will have excellent work ethic, leadership skills and customer service . As Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation while managing kitchen staff and maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment. This position is primarily Mon-Fri with a few weekends/holidays throughout the year. Customer service, consistency and leadership are the most vital characteristics for this position. This position requires using a company vehicle to do deliveries. Clean driving record preferred.

Duties

-Oversee daily kitchen operations, and all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented consistently according to standards.

-Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines for meal preparation and service.

-Manage kitchen staff, including supervising, scheduling, and training kitchen staff.

-Managing inventory levels, ordering food and supplies, and coordinating deliveries.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.

-Monitor food costs and waste management to optimize profitability.

-Coordinate catering services everyday, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.

-Deliver and set up meals in professional settings, using a company vehicle.

Skills

-Proven ability in food service management and catering operations.

-Problem-solving, relationship-building, and product knowledge (as you learn our menu) are key for this position.

-Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.

-Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.

-Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in menu planning and execution.

-Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.

-Ability to work early mornings.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
