Description: In this entry-level health care position, you will help CHCC’s friendly dietary team deliver food to our residents so they can receive the nutrition they need to remain strong and healthy.
Shift: Approximately 24 hours per week. Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Compensation: $16.75 to $20.33 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Prepare food items and deliver food carts to designated care units.
Perform detail cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment.
Wash cook’s dishes; help dishwasher with dishes.
Prepare instant breakfast, beverages and fortified milk.

Qualifications:
Must have or be able to obtain a food handler's permit.
Must be able to stand, walk and lift to 50 pounds.
Age 18+ is preferred.
Three to six months of general kitchen work experience is preferred.
Skills:
Have a positive working rapport with fellow staff members as well as patients and residents.
Be compassionate, have great communication skills and a pleasant, professional manner.
Have knowledge of kitchen equipment, including dishwasher, coffee maker, juice machine, food processor.
Comply with all facility policies and procedures.
