The Filling Station in Fairhaven, is looking to hire a Full Time closing line cook. We are open from 11am - 9pm and have an assortment of shifts available in 6-8 hour increments. Applicants should have the availability to work weekends.
We have a 30+ hour per week position available
Closing shift hours would be approximately: (may start as early as 12pm) usually start @ 4pm and go until close (9:45pm-10:30pm out).
We have a fast paced kitchen environment and work together as a team. Working well with other employees is a must! We are looking for someone that communicates well with both Front of house and Back of house staff and can stay cool under pressure. Applicants should be able to take direction well, execute tasks in a timely manner, have an eye for detail, and exhibit consistency in both their product and attendance. Applicants must be cooperative and willing to accept other kitchen and restaurant duties if necessary.
Minimum 2 year of kitchen experience required. Must have a valid Washington State Food Handlers card. Serve Safe Certification is a plus.
For the positions currently advertised (experience depending) Pay range starts at minimum/hour plus tips and ends at $19.00/hour plus tips. Tips in the past, average out to be between $4-$6 an hour. As we head into higher volume tourist season that number may rise.
