Roe is a neighborhood restaurant on the corner of Unity and Flora that opened a couple of weeks ago in Bellingham’s Arts District. We are a fine-causal concept serving simple, seasonal, high-quality American food inspired by the cooking and flavors of France, Italy, and Spain.
We are very busy and looking to add some motivated people to our team. There certainly is room for growth for the right person.

Scratch kitchen. Seasonal and market-driven menu. Everything we can make, we do.
Looking for both full and part-time cooks. Full time is 4, 10-hour shifts a week. Typical schedule is 1:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
Nights and weekend availability are required. We are a five-day-a-week establishment (Wednesday - Sunday). There will be growth opportunities for the right person.
Compensation is $19-20/hr + tips.
Duties (including but not limited to):
Daily Station prep
Daily set-up, breakdown, and cleaning
A desire to learn and improve
A clean and organized workstation
A good, team-oriented attitude
Requirements:
Great knife skills and a willingness to learn
Familiarity with professional cooking equipment
Able to work efficiently and with a sense of urgency.
Positive attitude with the ability to work as a team.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Qualifications:
1-2 years experience minimum
Health insurance is available after 90 days of full-time employment.
The right person/personality is the most important piece of this puzzle for us. We are looking forward to meeting you! We typically will schedule a stage (working interview) it will last a couple of hours. We will feed you after and give you a shift drink.
