Seeking Full and Part-Time Kitchen Team Members (Line, Banquet, Pastry)

Join our cutting edge team of cooks, supporting some of Bellingham’s most high class dining, events, and activities. Our culinary/dining experience is second-to-none in Bellingham featuring cutting edge cuisine, the very best wines, and top-notch service. We operate a scratch kitchen with a rotational menu featuring specialty ingredients, including local when possible. The Club executes many exceptional culinary events, weddings, and restaurant service throughout the year and is looking for an energetic team that is excited about being part of such production.

Kitchen experience is a bonus, however, we are willing to invest in training the right candidate. Our kitchen provides opportunity to get creative to grow in your culinary experience.

Role and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Ability follow instruction from banquet party sheets and/or restaurant menu recipes

Ability to lift and carry large and heavy trays/equipment

Adhere to recipes when prepping menu items

Follow directions from the Chef and other kitchen supervisors

Properly label food items in accordance to health standards

Work with Chef to create daily and weekly specials

Keep work area clean and abide by company grooming policies

Work with urgency to complete tasks

Respect kitchen equipment and maintain equipment cleanliness

Follow all company policies and procedures

NOTE: Other duties can be assigned by supervisor or management

Requirements:

Culinary experience is encouraged, but not required

MUST have Food Handlers Permit Card or ability to obtain one

Requires standing/walking/bending throughout shift and ability to lift up to 50lbs

Able to work all shifts, including but not limited to weekends and some holidays

Excellent communication skills- must be able to speak English, have an eye for detail and ability to multi-task

Treat co-workers and members with respect
