Roe is a neighborhood restaurant on the corner of Unity and Flora - opening October 25th in Bellingham’s Arts District. We are a fine-causal concept serving simple, seasonal, high-quality American food inspired by the cooking and flavors of France, Italy, and Spain.
We are looking for a couple of motivated people to join our opening team. There certainly is room for growth for the right person.
We are looking to create a positive, team-oriented work environment, where everyone pitches in, everyone is valued, and everyone is taken care of.
Scratch kitchen. Seasonal and market-driven menu. Everything we can make, we do.
Looking for both full and part-time cooks. Full time is 4, 10-hour shifts a week. Typical schedule is 1:30 pm - 10:30 pm.
A flexible schedule is important. Nights and weekend availability are required. We are a five-day-a-week establishment (Wednesday - Sunday). There will be growth opportunities for the right person.
Compensation is DOE + tips.
Duties (including but not limited to):
Greeting & seating guests
Managing the waitlist
Managing reservations
Working hand in hand with service staff to create lasting impressions & guest experiences
Bussing tables and general support when needed
Daily set-up and cleaning
A desire to learn and improve
A clean and organized workstation
Requirements:
Able to work efficiently and with a sense of urgency.
Positive attitude with the ability to work as a team.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Experience with reservation software is a big plus.
Qualifications:
1-2 years experience minimum
Health insurance is available after 90 days of full-time employment.
