Crave Catering is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Kitchen Prep Assistant to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in appetizer displays, fine detail work, and a passion for creating beautiful presentations.
About the Position:
Schedule: 1–3 shifts per week (hours vary based on event schedule)
Location: Ferndale kitchen + occasional off-site event work
Type: Very part-time; great for someone looking to supplement income or work around another job/school schedule
What You’ll Do:
Prepare and assemble appetizers, charcuterie boards, and small bites with precision and artistry
Assist with kitchen prep tasks including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
Create visually stunning displays for events, ensuring consistency and attention to detail
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in appetizer preparation and decorative food displays
Strong eye for presentation and fine detail
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under event deadlines
Positive attitude, reliability, and a collaborative spirit
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
