Viking Food is seeking self-employed delivery drivers in the Bellingham area! The summer slump is ending quicker than usual and we're looking for both long and short-term delivery drivers to partner with.
The process is simple: using a phone app, deliver food for the restaurants we market your services to, as the driver, you deliver the food and get paid. We operate entirely locally and look to serve the community by partnering only with locally owned restaurants.
If this sounds like it could be a good fit, read on for prerequisites:
-A good driving record
-A smartphone (preferably less than two years old) with a data plan
-A reliable vehicle with decent CMPG (20 is recommended minimum)
-Be able to both drive and operate a GPS legally, safely, and efficiently.
-Valid driver's licence and insurance
-Be willing to get the proper licences and/or documents in accordance with local laws and company regulations
And here's some additional qualities that would help you stand out:
-A familiarity with the area is a plus
-Service and/or driving experience
-Any experience with self-employment
