Magdalena's Creperie is looking for a new member to join our European-style cafe in the historic Fairhaven Business District of Bellingham. We are looking for a very outgoing, friendly, and experienced person who has a passion for delicious foods, drinks, and desserts.
We are a small cafe with high volume seasons and we are open for breakfast and lunch only, on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Our weekends are very busy. Right now we need someone for 15-20 hours per week. Tip-share varies, of course, but is typically $8-$15 per hour.
We are looking for an honest, intuitive, and hardworking person with good communication skills. We work as a team; this position is primarily for a server/barista, but all employees are responsible for excellent customer service, food prep, dishwashing, and using a POS system. This is not a position for someone new to the restaurant business and in particular, we're interested in someone that's comfortable with a manually dosed and operated espresso machine.
Restaurant hours are 8:30 am to 2:00 pm Thursday through Sunday. Please bring your resume at the earlier or later parts of the day, so that we might have a few minutes to chat.
