The Mount Bakery is seeking applicants to work as a dishwasher and/or prep cook at the Mount Bakery Cafes.
The position we are trying to fill was a full time job combining a mix dishwasher AND prep cooking duties. We would hire to replace this directly or consider hiring for just Dish or just Prep depending on the skills, experience, and ambitions of the applicants.
Applicants could have opportunity to work in either of our locations, Downtown or Fairhaven. This gives management more flexibility for shift coverage and gives employees more work opportunities.
Dish washing applicants must show that they can keep up with a busy day of high traffic breakfast, lunch, and baking dishes. Prep job requires usual knife skills and kitchen familiarity plus an ability to work independently with real intensity and attention to detail.
Job starting wage depends on experience and whether you Dish, Prep, or do both and it includes a fairly generous share of tips. Regular performance reviews provide opportunities for increased hourly wage for employees that do well. Shift meals included are of the highest quality as are the staff you will be working with. Once eligibility requirements are met Mount Bakery Cafe employees can accrue paid vacation time and full time employees can receive employer subsidized health insurance.
