Full time live-in caregiver for 93 year old ambulatory woman who lives on an island in the San Juan Islands in Puget Sound. The services would be variable and will likely increase over time, starting with fairly light duties, but could increase over time as her condition progresses. Some duties: checking on her several times a day, making a simple evening meal, reminder to take medications. In time, it may be necessary to increase duties to include dressing, bathing and assistance with toileting. There is a separate guest cottage with a kitchen that will be used by the caregiver. The caregiver must be compassionate, warm and friendly, able to respect her privacy. The caregiver must thrive on peace and quiet, able to entertain herself without a lot of other people around. Note that the house is located in a remote location with limited ferry service. Food expenses will be covered. This could be a great opportunity to save for a big project, school, etc. Could also be a great opportunity for a writer or artist who wants an isolated location to work on a major project.
