Types of support you will provide include Activities of Daily Living (meeting client's daily needs specified in their individual instruction and support plan, including personal care) and participating in community outings (see full job description at www.puffinisland.org).
HIRING IMMEDIATELY
Compensation: $22-23/hour for certified staff - CNA or HCA Certified
Bonus after 6 months service to qualified candidate - CNA or HCA Certified
Reimbursement for re-certification and continuing education training costs are included.
SCHEDULE:
Consistent shifts every week - Saturday, Sunday from 9a-7p.
More hours may be available.
QUALIFICATIONS:
CNA or Home Care Aide (Certified) with an active license, in good standing (HCA's with experience will be considered)
Acceptable Washington criminal background check and FBI fingerprint check
Valid Washington State Driver's License
At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or the equivalent
Strong communication skills including proficiency in understanding, reading and writing in English
Successful report from a confidential, employer-paid Fitness for Duty evaluation, including drug testing (through Whatcom Occupational Health)
Proof of updated vaccinations
