Who we are…
Dr. Joshua Clarkman purchased the practice, formerly “Frere Smile Design”, in September 2020. Over the last four years we have updated everything from moving to completely digital (computers, PANO/CT, two brand new itero scanners, 3D printer), to all the chairs (Adec with Dr. delivery) and all the equipment. Hygiene has built in Cavitrons, Piezo, air polisher, cordless polisher, brand new instruments every year, in cassettes. Your specific instruments stay with you as well, they are not shared with other hygienists or the doctor. We give the hygienists the autonomy to control their profession and the tools and medicaments to perform at the highest level.
We just finished adding two resto/surgical suites and one more hygiene suite. We have a total of 8 ops. Our future goal will be to build a brand-new building, probably in the next 3 years.
What’s our goal…
We built this office and team to be first and foremost a place that makes you feel great coming to work. Then we provide the best equipment and systems to facilitate a high-quality environment and care. We want to be the office that the other dental professionals in the community go to, and we are. Most of our team has been here for over three years. We do not tolerate gossip or drama. We all need support in our personal lives, and we are fully staffed to allow when someone needs vacation and or time off but we hope everyone can come to work and “wipe your feet at the door”.
We are trying to get at least two full time hygienists and one part time. Once this is established and maybe sooner we will be adding another doctor. We will never exceed 1.5 Hygiene/doctor. We do real dentistry, we are not in the business of running a prophy mill.
Our current team…. We have two office directors (3 years), one TX coordinator (2 years) that was previously on the front desk and also helps oversee scheduling. Two front desk (1.5 years/and new), Insurance processing (2+ yrs). Hygiene (3+ yrs) part time hygiene that just started, five assistants (two for 3+ yrs, 2 for 1.5+ yrs, 1 veteran that is new)
Who we are looking for….
We would prefer someone with experience, but are open to out of school. Customer service is a must. Ability to own your profession and skills. Willingness to grow in your profession. Positive attitude that can problem solve. Generally, have a good time at work and help patients build confidence in themselves and support your teammates.
What we are offering….
-$55-$75/ Hourly rate that is based on skills, clinical and personal. Hand skills are great but how is your mood, team energy, and customer service, week after week.
-We do not require you to clock out if your patient doesn’t show. If Dr. takes vacation and you want to work, you can, you are not required to use your PTO.
-PTO – two weeks for full time (Four days per week)
-Sick pay
-Holiday pay (13 days in 2024), we are unique with this as well. If Christmas is on a Thursday and we take Friday off you will get paid holiday pay, you do not need to use your PTO. If doctor has to close office, which never happens, you will get paid.
-Christmas bonus

-Hoka shoes to match the team
-We will pay half for loupes if you need them or want to upgrade. Our team has converted to Ergo loupes.
-Our assistants also have their own loupes.
-CE, as long as it is brought to team and valuable to your skills.
-Medical insurance (typically for basic coverage for one person the office is paying roughly $423.46/mo. Really depends on what you choose and dependents)
-Dental coverage through the office
-401K matching at 4%
-Hipaa/Wisha/BLS training, we do this as a team
-Starbucks 1-2x per week.
-Choice of cake for birthday, most choose a Pure Bliss cake.
-Real food for any staff meetings or random lunches, not dominos.
What’s the next step….
Reach out… We are confidential, come observe our office for a couple hours, no pressure to meet doctor or see patients, just get a vibe for the office. Cold call our office. Get on the schedule as a new cash patient, secret shopper style, (booking in to late September for cash, next October 2025 for insurance). If you pay and we hire you, you will be reimbursed. If you decide it’s not a fit and you let us know, we will reimburse you. If you want a formal interview, we can make that happen too. Then possibly a working interview. You and us need to find the right fit. We are looking for the right fit not just anybody.
