Shifts: Mainly 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with occasional 12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. shifts. Four-day on, two-day off rotation ensures you’ll have some weekends off. Scheduled in advance monthly.

Experience: One or more years of housekeeping experience is preferred. Must be able to lift, carry and maneuver supplies weighing 50 pounds or less.

Wages: $16.28 to $19.76 per hour, DOE, plus generous benefits

In this role, you’ll help to create a clean environment for individuals who live or receive short-term rehabilitation care at Christian Health Care Center. You’ll support teams in the environmental services/housekeeping department and in the laundry department as needed.

What does a housekeeping assistant do?

Housekeepers at CHCC are responsible for the daily cleaning of living spaces and common areas. You’ll help move equipment and supplies around the healthcare center; you’ll use CHCC best practices for cleaning and safely use chemicals.

Laundry duties involve collecting, sorting, and preparing linens for washing. You’ll operate commercial washing machines; you’ll fold, hang, and deliver clean laundry to those we provide care for. Keeping laundry areas in a clean, orderly manner and ensuring supplies are well-stocked are also duties of this role.
