Sound Truck and Auto in Bellingham, WA is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician / Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team. If you take pride in your work and want to be part of a supportive, professional environment, this is the opportunity for you.
We are a full-service repair and maintenance shop specializing in trucks, trailers, and diesel equipment. This is a Monday to Friday, day shift position – no nights or weekends required.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, air brake systems, suspensions, A/C, electrical and starting/charging systems
Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
Use diagnostic software and scan tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment
Maintain accurate records of all work performed
Work independently or collaboratively as needed
Follow safety standards and company protocols
Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of recent hands-on experience as a Diesel Technician
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and air brake systems
Experience with diagnostic tools, or a strong willingness to learn
Fabrication and welding experience is a plus
Must provide own tools
Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 an asset but not required)
Schedule:
8-hour shifts
Monday to Friday only
