We are currently seeking help on our farm for basically a Jack of all Trades. This position is for 2 areas on the farm for firewood productive and - Mowing, weeding, production and care of vegetables that we grow and sell.
For the firewood production - you MUST be able to safely use chainsaws and hydraulic splitters, and at times a splitting maul. Be able to lift 50 - 75 lbs. Training will provided. Parts of the firewood production can be physically demanding So you MUST be in good shape and able to bend and lift firewood rounds and split wood at a rapid pace.
Good quality work boots are required (no sneakers or flip flops)
With regard to the general farm help we will train you - there is lots to do so you will be kept busy.
For the Firewood - we need EXPERIENCED WORKERS! We cannot stress this enough!
You MUST have a CURRENT VALID DRIVERS LICENSE as you will be delivering firewood to customers in the company truck. You MUST have a reliable vehicle to get you to and from work.
This is Part Time to start 20+ hours per week. Pay is $16.28 to Start depending on experience - you will earn more as you learn the process and wood flow path with the firewood production.
