Description: As a hospitality aide, you will assist CHCC nursing staff and our residents with a number of nonmedical care needs. This is an entry-level health care role.
Job functions:
Transport individuals to and from meals and activities.
Restock supplies.
Tidy rooms, change bedding and keep personal care equipment clean.
Help distribute snacks and beverages.
Help answer call lights.
Visit with residents as directed by a licensed nurse.
Qualifications:
Support CHCC’s mission
18+ years of age or enrolled in Running Start.
High school diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
Able to obtain a Dining Room Assistant Certificate (training provided by CHCC).
Skills and traits:
Team-oriented, able to work collaboratively with others.
Self-directed and able to work independently.
Excellent attendance.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work with diverse populations.
Detail-orientated and able to complete tasks as assigned.
Able to provide a pleasant, positive and calm environment for residents.
Work schedule:
6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a four-day-on, two-day-off rotation, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation:
$16.50 to $22.21 per hour, DOE.
