Marketing Specialist at Kulshan Brewing Company
Reports To: General Manager
Position Type: Part Time Hourly
Shift: Average work week is 25-30 hours
Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour depending on experience. Sick Leave, SIMPLE IRA plan, monthly beer benefits, and annual merchandise gift card.
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is desired, but not required.
Age Requirement: 21 or above
Position Summary:
As a Marketing Specialist at Kulshan Brewing Co, this position is responsible for shaping our brand identity, and driving customer engagement through innovative marketing strategies. This position must be a creative and results-driven individual with a passion for craft beer and a keen understanding of consumer behavior in our market. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategic thinking, digital marketing expertise, proficient adobe suite skills and a knack for storytelling.
Kulshan’s Marketing Specialist position requires being a fun, driven, enthusiastic, dynamic and creative individual. Excellent written communication skills, attention to detail, meticulous organizational skills, concise and thorough communication is required. We are looking for a team player who is comfortable working across departments. This employee must be confident and knowledgeable about the craft beer industry, and willing to acquire an intimate knowledge of Kulshan Brewing’s beer, brand and culture.
In collaboration with the General Manager, this position is responsible to maintain the Kulshan brand in a way that best contributes to the overall success of Kulshan Brewing Company. The Marketing Specialist position will generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images and video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages the community to engage with Kulshan Brewing Company. Media tasks will vary from social media page management, product photography, writing, customer newsletters, website management and distribution on other various marketing materials. The Marketing Specialist will serve as a brand ambassador and spokesperson for the brewery, representing our values and mission to the public through participation in brewery events and engagement with our local community.

-Proficient in Adobe Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere
-Proficient in Google Suite
-Proficient in Social Media Platforms - Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, ect.
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate communication between staff, vendors, and customers
-Positive attitude and ability to communicate clearly, with professionalism and enthusiasm to staff, vendors, customers, and community members
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-A team player with the confidence to work cross departmentally
-Continually works to improve processes, customer experiences, customer engagement and is willing to take a reflective approach to self improvement and co-worker feedback
-Strong decision-making ability and sense of responsibility.
-Must understand how the Kulshan administration is structured and know who to work with on different areas of the job
-Professional on-the-spot communication skills, quick decision-making, good judgment, and the ability to be calm in the face of stress
-Strong communication skills, adaptability, calm presence, desire to solve problems, ability to troubleshoot and know where to pass questions, knowledge of the company policies
-Adequate knowledge of Kulshan's distribution network (i.e.: distributors).

Job Description
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for maintaining a strong brand identity that resonates with our target audience through consistent visuals and voice. Ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and materials. Collaborates with the General Manager on design assets to support across departments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Digital Marketing: Create and execute digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, and the brewery's website. Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize results.
Content Creation: Generate compelling content, including social media posts, videos, and graphics, to engage our audience and drive brand awareness. Collaborate with the creative team to develop visual assets that align with our brand aesthetic.
Event Promotion: In collaboration with the Event Manager, coordinate and promote brewery events and collaborations to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. Manage event promotion.
Market Research: Stay in the know of the craft beer industry trends, consumer preferences, and aware of our competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth. Use data to inform marketing strategies.
Public Relations: Serve as a brand ambassador and spokesperson for the brewery, representing our values and mission to the public. Develop press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials to generate positive media coverage and enhance brand reputation.
