Marketing & Communications Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Ferndale, WA (On-Site Only)
Compensation: $20/hour to start
Schedule: 15 hours/week (with full-time growth potential)

Flow Motion is a healing spa and yoga sanctuary nestled in downtown Ferndale. We’re not your average wellness business—we specialize in nervous system recovery, biohacking, hypnosis, sound therapy, aerial yoga, and elemental spa experiences. Our mission is to help people feel better, inside and out—and we’re looking for someone who’s just as passionate about that mission as we are.
About the Role:
We’re hiring a Marketing & Communications Assistant to help grow and maintain our digital presence and in-house communication. This is a part-time, entry-level position with on-the-job training, perfect for someone hungry to grow into a bigger role here. You’ll work directly with the owner on branding, outreach, and community engagement to amplify Flow Motion’s message and offerings, gaining real-world experience in the wellness industry while making an immediate impact. This position is ideal for someone who lives and breathes creativity, believes in the power of wellness, and understands that marketing is more about connection than sales.
While you may support many marketing tasks over time, your first, top priorities will be:
Creating and sending twice-monthly email newsletters
Managing our social media presence (Instagram & Facebook especially)
Assisting with visual content using Canva
Supporting occasional in-house signage, print projects, or promotions
As you learn more about our brand, services, and systems, you’ll also have the opportunity to gain new skills like editing our website (WordPress/Divi) and learning marketing strategy through real application.

You already use Canva and ChatGPT (or are eager to dive in)
You understand the difference between marketing and advertising

You can work independently and meet deadlines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

2 days/week to begin (with growth based on performance)
Flexible scheduling
On-the-job training in marketing, website editing, and AI-assisted tools
