Part-Time Drafter / Designer – Construction & Remodeling (Bellingham)
LJ’s Handyman Services – a fast-growing, locally trusted construction company in Bellingham – is looking for a part-time Drafter/Designer to help us bring residential remodels and additions to life!
We specialize in custom bathrooms, custom kitchens, home remodels, new additions, and more. We need someone to create clear, code-compliant, and client-ready construction drawings for real homes. This is a perfect gig for a freelance designer, student, or someone looking to grow with a local company.
What You’ll Do:
-Draft construction plans for remodels, additions, bathrooms, etc.
-Use AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software
-Collaborate with clients and our project managers
-Make revisions and finalize plans for permits and construction
Requirements:
-Experience drafting residential projects
-Proficient with drafting/design software
-Familiar with local building codes (preferred)
-Strong communication and attention to detail
Schedule & Pay:
-Part-time (10–20 hours/week)
-Flexible hours
-Pay: $24 – $32/hr, depending on experience
