Manufacturing Lead
In this position you will work as a “hands-on” lead performing the activities of our shop employees, while efficiently directing, coordinating, and training shop employees to meet Company safety, quality and productivity standards.
We’re looking for a self-starter who can manage their time, and the time of others effectively. Set priorities, willing to make quick decisions, proud of the work their team accomplishes. The job requires drive, a sense of urgency and accountability. You enjoy working in a team, training people, and maintaining a positive work environment. You have the skills to work with employees on the shop floor, fostering continuous improvement in production, safety, personnel relations, equipment, maintenance and efficiency. You have good problem-solving skills, comfortable setting priorities and making decisions, and dedicated to performing all duties safely while maintaining quality, efficiency, and housekeeping standards.
Oversee 6-10 employees
Plan, organize and manage multiple projects
Self-motivated, high achiever
“Hands-on” experience in a manufacturing shop environment
Read and interpret drawings, schematics and blueprints
Working knowledge of tools and equipment: overhead cranes, saws, ironworker, welders
Excellent communications skills
- 3+ years related experience, supervisory or leadership experience preferred
