Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is actively recruiting a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join a well-established company in Bellingham! This company is a national retail and e-commerce company that strives for excellent customer service, and quality products, and cares about its people. The right person for this role would have at least three years of management/supervisor experience, strong leadership skills, and can motivate and lead others, experience in inventory management, detail orientated, and solution-focused.
Pay: $30.00-$35.00
Shift: Monday through Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Job Duties & Responsibilities include:
-Supervision, training, and direct assistance with warehouse operations which include, but are not limited to, loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, putting away, picking, and inventory control
-Leading by example ensuring that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed
-Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement
-Complete and deliver employee documentation, training, and performance reviews
-Maintain accurate inventory levels by leading regular physical cycle counts with warehouse teams and reconciling discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system
-Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to standard operational procedures
-Measure and report KPIs and operational metrics to the National Distribution Manager every week
Qualifications & Skills:
-Strong communication, interpersonal skills, leadership, and conflict resolution
-Strong knowledge of modern warehousing practices and methods
-Critical thinking ability and a proactive approach to problem-solving
-Must be able to multi-task several tasks at once.
-Must be detail-oriented while working in a fast-paced environment.
-Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management software
-Able to operate the forklift, order picker, and electric pallet jack equipment
