Kulshan Supported Employment is hiring for a Job Developer to work with adults with developmental disabilities. This job is fun and dynamic and requires the applicant to have a flexible schedule. As a Job Developer, you will assist adults with developmental disabilities find employment, job shadows and job samples in our community. The ability to be a self-starter and be willing to go out in the community to talk to potential employers each day is a must. A successful candidate will also be able to provide job training and coaching to clients in our program. We are looking for a full-time team member. The schedule is anticipated to be Tuesday-Saturday. If you are interested, we would love to hear from you!
Summary of Qualifications:
· Must be able to work with people from all backgrounds.
· Must be able to represent agency in a professional manner.
· Must be willing to go out into the community to contact potential employers and support clients working at their jobs.
· Must be able to stand for long periods, able to lift 50lbs occasionally, able to bend, stoop and reach.
· Must have an acceptable background check in accordance with WAC 388-113-0020 in order to be qualified to work with vulnerable adults.
· Must have an acceptable driving abstract.
· Must have reliable transportation.
· Must have a current Washington State Driver’s license.
· Must have current auto insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
Compensation:
$22.00/hr to start
