About the Role:
As an Executive Assistant, you will work directly with an executive who is deeply engaged in cutting-edge work spanning AI, biotechnology, media, and public policy. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in projects ranging from:
- Engaging with Congress in Washington, D.C., to advance transformative technology initiatives.
- Collaborating with Fortune 500 tech companies on groundbreaking AI and biotech ventures.
- Developing content for media and publishing platforms, including newsletters and books.

Key Responsibilities:
- Calendar and Scheduling Management:
- Coordinate meetings, travel, and deadlines across multiple time zones and stakeholders.
- Prioritize appointments and manage conflicts proactively.
- Communication Management:
- Handle email correspondence, draft responses, and ensure follow-up on critical tasks.
- Maintain professional relationships with key contacts and stakeholders.
- Project Management:
- Assist in tracking progress across various projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Take meeting notes, summarize action items, and follow up as needed.
- Travel Support:
- Research, plan, and book travel arrangements for business and personal trips.
- Prepare detailed itineraries for high-level engagements.
- Administrative Support:
- Manage expense tracking, file organization, and other administrative tasks.
- Provide logistical support for events, webinars, and public engagements.

- Location: You are based in Bellingham, WA, or within commuting distance, and can meet in person with the executive at least once a week.
