We are looking for someone to join our close knit team as a full-time optician in our exciting and busy optometric clinic located in the Fairhaven district of Bellingham. The position is 5 days per week, Monday – Friday from 8:45 am to 5:15 pm.
Responsibilities:
Help patients with frame and lens selection to best meet their prescription and lifestyle.
Management of frame inventory and display.
Fit and adjusting frames.
Frame repair.
Explain insurance coverage to patients.
Glasses and contact lens verification.
Ordering glasses and working with labs and frame representatives to ensure the highest quality.
Qualifications:
Preferred 2 years experience in the opticianry field.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong organization skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to multitask.
Pleasant and positive attitude.
A team oriented focus.
Ability to identify and solve problems.
Familiarity with medical records and HIPPA regulations.
