About Us:
Smith & Vallee Gallery, located in the heart of historic Edison, WA, represents a diverse collection of contemporary artists, with a strong focus on the Pacific Northwest art scene. We are dedicated to fostering meaningful connections between artists, collectors, and the broader design community.
Position: Sales Lead
Schedule: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: Competitive wage, including sales commission
Primary Responsibilities.
Sales Expertise: Actively engage with visitors and art collectors to showcase the gallery's collection, provide personalized recommendations, and facilitate art sales.
Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with art collectors to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Outreach & Networking: Develop connections with interior designers and other industry partners in the Pacific Northwest to expand the gallery’s reach and influence.
Gallery Presentation: Ensure the gallery is professionally presented to create a welcoming environment.
Event Participation: Assist with gallery events and openings, providing sales and networking support to highlight featured artists and their work.
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience, preferably in art, luxury goods, or related industries.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to work independently and proactively seek opportunities to enhance gallery success.
