I am seeking an Apprentice to join me in the fabrication and installation of highly crafted cabinetry and millwork. This is a unique opportunity to learn a valuable trade at a high level. We tend to work primarily in our shop that is located in north Bellingham. Most of our project are located within Whatcom County. While some experience in carpentry is preferred, it is not a requirement if you are a self-motivator and reflect the drive and willingness to learn. The ideal candidate needs to be able to follow direction, have an eye for detail, have an artistic and creative side and have a strong work ethic. This position does require hard work, and at times heavy lifting. This being said, you need to be fit and live a healthy and active lifestyle.
This position will have a trial period of 30 days. During this time, the position will be Part-Time, roughly 24-32hrs. per week. After the trial period, full time employment will be offered if it proves to be a good fit.
