Pre-Finish Facility Manager
Compensation: Starting at $25+/hour, Depending on Experience

Bellingham Professional Finishes specializes in natural and painted finishes/coatings for whole house interiors and exteriors including cabinetry, millwork, and furniture. We provide the highest quality on-site, pre-finish, and restoration services throughout Whatcom, Skagit, and Island counties.
We are hiring for the position of Pre-Finish Facility Manager to perform work in and manage our pre-finish shops. This individual will have 5+ years of experience with hand application and/or spray coatings, leadership experience, a willingness to learn, will emulate our company's values, and have skills to provide training and guidance to other team members.

Job Responsibilities:
Work on one’s own and with others to perform full scope, high quality finishes; from basic prep procedures to highest skilled tasks.
Refer to and work within job specifications including timelines, budgets, client expectations, and etc., on each project.
Maintain a clean and professional work area at all times.
Maintain strict attention to detail.
Able to identify various types of surfaces.
Able to determine accepted procedures and products to prep, treat, and finish all surfaces in correlation to the clients’ desired aesthetic and protection.
Create a daily workflow plan that integrates current projects and communicates details to other team members throughout the day.
Work with and train lesser skilled team members on a regular basis.
Demonstrate an inclusive leadership style.
Will monitor each crew member’s work hours, breaks, and attendance and ensure timesheets are being properly filled out.
Ability to think critically and spatially about placement of incoming/outgoing orders, finished materials, products, etc.
Trouble shoot and work to resolve any issues in an effective and efficient manner.
Coordinate with management team daily to ensure project details are clear and to obtain product-specific materials.
Emulate and promote Bellingham Professional Finishes’ s values of quality, efficiency, safety, hard work and camaraderie.
Monitor and maintain equipment and facility for optimum performance.
Work with others on the management team to develop, improve, and implement efficient solutions to any new or ongoing issues.
Communicate with clients as needed and confidently speak about company techniques, procedures, and products.
Regular communication with the client, contractor, office, and others as business requires.
Will work efficiently and adopt methods to streamline job performance to enhance project profitability.
Retain and secure all paperwork, receipts, etc. from deliveries and purchases.
Requirements and Qualifications
18+ years of age
Management experience
5+ years of professional painting experience
Strongly developed brush and spray skills with air-assist/airless sprayers.
Working knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the finishing trade
Acute attention to detail
Time management
Ability to lead, instruct, and coordinate others in a positive manner
Excellent communication skills
Ability to accurately estimate supplies and materials needed for jobs
Valid driver license and reliable transportation
Capable of lifting and carrying 50+ lbs on a regular basis
Wage will depend on experience and performance.
