Job Description:
We are hiring 2 Drivers to provide reliable, safe, and courteous transportation of vehicles (primarily pick-up trucks) from our vehicle lot in Ferndale, WA to our customers (dealerships) in Washington and Oregon. These trips are typically 1-5 hours each way. Once vehicles are delivered, drivers are transported in a company van back to the Ferndale lot. Other duties will include assisting in local vehicle pick-ups and drop offs around Ferndale, Lynden and Bellingham.
This is a contractor position.
Special Requirements:
Valid driver’s license (heavy weight rating a plus)
Clean (or near clean) driving history. Driving history document (from WA DOL) will need to be provided prior to employment.
Criminal record check may be required
Qualifications:
Previous driving experience an asset
Safe driver
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills - drivers work together as a team.
Hours of Operation:
Lot is open Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm. Approximately 15-30 hours per week depending on volume.
