Red Cab has immediate openings for taxi drivers serving Whatcom County and beyond. We're a local family-owned and operated taxi company based out of Blaine.
Starting pay: $17.28/hr + tips. (some prearranged rides have guaranteed tip amounts or percentages)
Benefits:
-Overtime pay (1.5x) for over 40 hours.
-Paid sick leave (1 hour per 40 hours worked)
Schedule: Flexible. Part-time and full-time available, early morning and day shifts available, possible night shifts available, possible extra shifts as needed. Shifts vary from 8 to 12 hours, depending on needs.
Responsibilities:
-Safely operate one of our taxi cabs (hybrid Prius or van)
-Pickup and drop off passengers.
-Provide friendly and professional customer service.
-Report any issues or incidents to dispatch.
-Maintain daily log of rides.
-Keep cab clean and sanitary.
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license, safe driving record, and pass a background check. 25 years of age or older. No taxi experience necessarywe will train.
