Construction Design Project Manager - Medical – West Zone US

This role will be program management for Philips HealthTech in the field of Turnkey Construction. You will ensure turnkey projects keep on track within quality standards, timely deadlines and budget limitations. Secure timely and accurate project deliverables and ensure measurable benefits are realized within the boundaries of company policies and procedures. Deliver multiple projects in parallel by managing the delivery of external turnkey vendors. You drive the project’s progress and support senior stakeholders in making well informed decisions. You will also be responsible to take and maintain state contractor license testing as the Philips representative.Your role:

Respond to requests for turnkey proposals within your area of responsibility. Work with selected turnkey vendors to develop the scope of work and associated costs. Develop the necessary turnkey proposal and change order documents, including all updates as necessary.

Monitor and manage the turnkey vendor performance on all projects within your area of responsibility. Request purchase orders for those projects and approve all progress and final invoices for the turnkey work. Ensure that all closeout documents are delivered to the customer as required by the contract.

Keep the turnkey web tool up to date for all projects within your area of responsibility, upload all documents as necessary.

Meet/teleconference with customers as needed to address any concerns and questions that they may have related the turnkey projects within your area of responsibility.

Communicate regularly with the account managers, business managers and project managers within your area of responsibility to ensure they are well informed of the progress of the turnkey projects.

Coordinate your activities with the other Turnkey Program Managers to ensure consistency across the program and to provide assistance when needed.

Take State Contractor License testing on behalf of Philips in various states.

Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

This is a field-based position with travel up to 25%

You're the right fit if:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline: (Engineering, Architecture, Business, Construction Management).

Minimum 15 years of experience in construction/real estate project management, with additional skills depending on the discipline (construction management, CAD, architectural design, portfolio management, RFP development).

Proven ability to drive projects, programs & change initiatives through project teams (both internally and externally) across a design and construction environment.

Solid negotiating skills in relation to contract review and comparative selection.

Ability to influence projects & change, always acting with business integrity

Ability travel within North America up to 25%.

The applicable PMI certification per role/level is required for all Employees hired/re-hired into the CPM/CDM role (including internal transfers from a non-CPM/CDM role). PMI certification obtainment is required within a specific time period of an employee’s start date in the CPM/CDM role. This time period is defined by the role/level and will be documented in the employment offer.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in the Western USA.
