UCI specializes in design engineering, gear manufacturing and complex assemblies for a worldwide clientele.The RoleThe Project & Account Manager will coordinate projects and ensure that the plans for achieving these goals are executed. This includes, but is not limited to identification, monitoring and control of key projects, managing the interdependencies between projects, as well as tracking the contribution of each project and ensuring the successful outcome to customer requirements. Furthermore, the Project & Account Manager responsible for making sure each department meets the needs of their clients and customers. They handle customer complaints, find solutions to their issues, and maintain a positive relationship between both parties for future business ventures. They interact closely with Sales and Customer Service to provide stellar service to our customers. Works with sales, customer service, product design, and mfg engineering in the planning and execution of the Sales plan.

Serves as the main point of contact for client’s project/program. Managing communication internally and externally through email, phone, and online.

Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.

Overall program management to include managing budgets, estimation, forecasting, support invoicing (with Customer Service), and implementing contract modifications.

Constantly monitor for gaps in the program and coordinate rectification.

Account Management

Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.

Ensure that all customer RFPs, RFQs and RFIs are reviewed, evaluated and responded to in a timely manner.

Forecast and track key account metrics.

Monitor and analyze customer's usage of our produce.

Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships.

RequirementsQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 3-5 years minimum experience with program/project management in a manufacturing environment

Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience required

Required:

Experience with Program Management Cost/Schedule/Quality fundamentals

Previous customer service experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace and defense

Understanding of business unit product lines

Experience with forecasting, establishing and tracking metrics

A demonstrated record of managing accounts and inside sales

Preferred:

Proficient in making formal presentations, developing and performing training, and ensuring understanding of legal and procedural requirements at all levels in the business unit

Proficient in interacting with senior level management, government officials, and all levels of employees

Ability to thrive in a challenging environment

Willingness to “Roll up the sleeves” to achieve the goal whenever necessary

Language, Math, and Reasoning Ability:

Strong verbal and written communication.

Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and interpersonal skills for dealing with the customer, subcontractors, staff, and employees.

Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Write routine reports and correspondence.

Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Compute rate, ratio and percent

Draw, analyze and interpret data into graphical representations, such as a bar graph or pie chart.

Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Computer Skills:

Must be proficient with Windows XP, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project

Familiar with Dynamics 365 preferable or like operating system
